Turning the Big 3!

Well the time has finally arrived, we are turning 3 this weekend. The parties are planned (yes, plural) and the theme is...drumroll please.........Cars! I know, I know, everyone is shocked. Needless to say D & K are pretty excited and Disney has received another large donation from our checking account.

Halloween was a blast this year with numerous visits to the local pumpkin patches, Halloween parties, and Trick or Treating.

We had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas with our families. We had Mimi and Poppie stay at our house the week of Thanksgiving and enjoyed Turkey day at Aunt Jamie and Uncle Mike's house with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Cory, Patrick and Ryan. At Christmas we celebrated with everyone over the course of several days and were excited to see our cousin Eden who thought we were pretty funny guys. We also welcomed another new cousin to the family, Baby Sara, who was born on New Year's Eve. 2008 was a pretty busy year!

Here are a few pics from the last couple of months. Coming up next in April is a road trip to Florida to visit Mimi and Poppie, and maybe, just maybe, a quick trip to see Mickey and Co. at the Magic Kingdom. Stay Tuned!

Fall Update

Well fall is here and Halloween is fast approaching and Dylan and Keegan are loving all the fun decorations and pumpkin farm trips. We spent last weekend visiting two pumpkin farms, one in West Chicago with Grandma and Grandpa and the other other in Libertyville with Aunt Leslie and cousins Jakob and Anna. It was a busy and fun weekend. We also went to the Children's Museum at Navy Pier a few weekends ago and had a great time at the museum AND checking out all the boats on the lake. Chicago has been experiencing some wonderful fall weather so we have had lots of fun excursions.

We are looking forward to dressing up in our costumes for Halloween and we will also be starting a new gymnastics class soon with some of our friends from our playdate group. Here are some recent pics of our activities!

An update — FINALLY!!!!!

Okay, so it's been a while since I last updated the boy's blog. Finally, here is an update.

We went apple picking last weekend with Dave and Mari out in Harvard, IL (at least I think we were still in Illinois. It may have been Iowa).

The kids had a great time. The apples were very tasty and they had fun toys for climbing on. What else could a kids ask for.

Summer fun!!!

It's been a while since we put some new photos on the blog.

We are having a great summer. We just got done with baby gymnastics and we've been going to the pool a lot.
